The UK has voted: Clarkson for Transport Minister

The people have spoken. Britain may not have voted as one for the UK’s new prime minster, but we do know that we need Sir Richard Branson and Jeremy Clarkson at the head of transportation.

According to a pole by the AA and Populous, Britain’s new Transport Minister shouldn’t be Philip Hammond but Virgin boss Richard Branson or Top Gear veteran Jeremy Clarkson, with 26 and 24 per cent of votes respectively.

Expect policies to include the prohibition of caravans, cyclists and anything vaguely ‘green’.

The survey asked participants to choose between a list of 15 non-governmental celebrities and business people.
