Audi S3 Sportback – Rate it on the Auto Trader Cool-o-meter

Audi S3 Sportback

Audi S3 Sportback

The Audi R8, S8 and RS6 are just some of the cars regarded in the Auto Trader office as being incredibly cool.

But, what do you think of the 261bhp Audi S3 Sportback? Is it cool too? How does it compare to the Audi A3?

  2. Very first, I’d prefer to give thanks to you for this enlightening post. Secondly, I’d prefer to question wherever I can discover a lot more info concerning your post. I arrived right here via Bing and can’t discover any other related web websites on this subject. Exactly how do I subscibe for your weblog? I’d prefer to adhere to your updates as they arrive along! I had a query to question but I forgot what it absolutely was… anyways, thanks to you!

Nick, if you’re happy with your Astra when compared to this, then I am convinced you haven’t driven one.

I find it to be a good settlement of sportiness and the premium badge bit you mention. To some people the latter is worth something. If you need pure performance at reasonable prices then we agree, this is not the car you are after. I find the autotrader review to be accurate and honest, it highlights all the good and bad stuff

Your right, I haven’t actually driven one! Was attempting a bit of a ‘Top Gear’ style critique there, note slight sarcasm at the end! I’m sure having driven one I would willingly sell one of my kidneys to buy one.

Though no one will take any notice (and who would), I was thinking you could get a fully loaded 2006 Audi RS4 for a few grand less than one of these. The money you saved could pay for like 3 years running costs or an extended warranty. I prefer the shape of the RS4 and its probably as practical and got a helluva engine note!

Or buy a restored 80’s Quattro and a Duran Duran album and burn round pretending your Gene Hunt…

Too practical, too dull, too expensive. Built with no passion, style or flair. Technically very impressive, but if your paying that much money your not buying this for fun ‘hot hatch’ value. You’re buying it for the premium badge and lugging the ski’s, golf clubs or surf boards away for an expensive weekend away with the family. You earn too much money I’m happy with my go faster astra. I am not jealous. Honest…
